A Night of Firsts

Last night I celebrated a couple of "firsts." We had our awards ceremony for the Clear Channel Bowling League I've been on for the past year. My team, You Got Served, took 2nd place in the overall score! I met the boys on my team, Chris and Drake, and we got our awesome trophies! We also got a certificate for being the team with the best handicap series. In bowling leagues, if you can get a 600 average per game (200 average for each person on the team with their handicaps), that is right were you want to be. So for the 3 games in the evening, you are hoping to maintain 1800 points. We blew it out with a 1922 evening! Pure awesomeness.













Then I had another first by trying sushi for the first time. Nic was craving it for a few weeks, so I said we should get with Chris because he is a sushi connoisseur. After we got our trophies, he took us to a restaurant called Sushi Zushi. The boys were kind to me and ordered sushi rolls that were not too off the wall. I have to say that it was really good.

It was a nice evening overall. The bowling season was great and I'm glad we got to finish the season in such good standings. It will be sad to leave this team. We had such a fun time bowling and it was a great opportunity to meet some real fun and down to earth people in San Antonio.
